Bar-Vac 8 is for the vaccination of healthy, susceptible cattle and sheep against diseases caused by Clostridium chauvoei, Cl. septicum, Cl. haemolyticum, Cl. novyi, Cl. sordellii and Cl. perfringens Types C and D. The combination of Type C (beta) and Type D (epsilon) fractions may be provide immunity against the beta and epsilon toxins elaborated by Clostridium perfringens Type B. Inject a single 5 mL dose subcutaneously in cattle or 2.5 mL in sheep. Repeat in 21 to 28 days and once annually. Use in all cattle and sheep. 21 day withdrawal.
